IWA Sustainable Natural and Engineered Water Systems Management

Community Organizer:

The conference will provide a platform to share the latest scientific and practical knowledge on occurrence of contaminants of emerging concern in natural and engineered water systems and environmental technologies that promote sustainable water system management. We focus on sources, occurrence, transformations, and fate of micropollutants in natural and engineered environments, highlighting inland fisheries and aquaculture, source and sink of antibiotic residues, EDCs, microplastics per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. Progress in removal of these emerging pollutants in water, soil, and sediments will be discussed. Participation of all professionals, students and engineers in different sectors are welcome. In addition, this event will offer opportunities for technical and tourism visit. This will provide opportunities to create networks among water-related professional association including IWA and American Chemical Society (ACS) and to promote exchange of young water professionals among participants.

Topics
